1:04 I really feel like a lot of these problems wouldn’t happen if people didn’t answer their phones. Phones are bad.
3:07 “Elevated horror.”
7:23 I think all films should start with a quiz as a ‘previously on’.
15:23 “Probably time to introduce him to Hobbs & Shaw.”
22:48 The boyfriend doing Stab research is adorable. He won’t last long.
33:32 “Never trust a love interest.”
34:49 Loving grumpy Dewey.
40:24 “Well maybe you’re the killer, because that cut deep.”
42:25 A requel. All of that was spot on.
51:28 She left behind lemon squares! Amazing.
1:02:32 Tara’s incredibly slow getaway is unintentionally hilarious.
1:07:20 Oh Dewey.
1:14:31 To Wes!!
1:21:45 “If you think I’m waiting out here to get murdered, you’re out of your mind.”
1:33:24 NOO, dammit, I’m such a bad judge of character!
1:46:48 I’d like to read that story too.

I really wasn’t convinced this was going to be any good but I couldn’t have been more wrong. This movie is why we’ve suddenly worked our way through the Scream backlog, intent on seeing how they manage to get the gang back together. I think it was really well done, totally believable, even whilst these movies are really going so meta they are almost impossible at this point.

It was the most gory and scary of the series but still pretty mild and more of a mystery than anything else and honestly, it would have been a perfect film if it hadn’t been for killing off Dewey. Boooo.
