In order to protect their friendship, they make a pact to keep their relationship strictly no strings attached. No strings means no jealousy, no expectations, no fighting, no flowers, no baby voices. It means they can do whatever they want, whenever they want, in whatever public place they want, as long as they don't fall in love. The question becomes - who's going to fall first? And can their friendship survive?

4:29 That is a properly giant foam finger.
5:06 “Sometimes my neck gets sore… because my brain’s so big.”
14:24 That weird weed voice where you don’t want to inhale or exhale but are still talking.
22:36 “Did I tell you in a charming way?’ “Yea, you were naked and crying.”
29:28 The congrats balloon is so cocky!
36:57 Sex montage.
43:24 Yea, cupcakes will pretty much guarantee you entry anywhere.
44:38 Period playlist is the best! Also the worst!
53:53 Haha, taxi driver needs a bit more info.
58:45 “Happy Birthday, we’re so proud of you.” For having a birthday?
1:06:35 No flowers but carrots, also adorable.
1:11:47 “You fight like a hamster.”
1:22:10 Tall and happy. Not the best description.
1:32:26 So Vanessa is the actual worst.
1:35:23 “We don’t get to pick who we fall in love with, and it never happens like it should.”
1:39:12 “You eat like a baby dinosaur.”

It’s worth saying that this movie was just what we needed after a long day, so it was well received, but that doesn’t mean it was actually a good film. There’s a great cast, and some great chemistry, but ultimately it was quite predictable and very slushy in places. I did like some of the quirks, the period mix and the carrots, and the burgeoning relationship of Patrice and Eli was adorable. But overall it was just medium good.
