Thoughts
After the disaster that was Midway, we wanted something that would be a bit more comfortable and a bit more of a surefire hit. Bring out a good ol’ Michael J Fox comedy and you’re on to a winner.
This was a good one, I’ve never heard of it before but I enjoyed it. It probably hasn’t aged all that well but not as badly as other movies we’ve attempted from this era. The swinging around from a cigarette at the end wasn’t all that believable but it worked.
Although the setup was a bit contrived, I liked some of the surprises along the way - handcuffed to the sofa, the sass of baby Christina, and the pretty harsh make believe to get Lang to leave. Good film!
