Conclusions

So, so good. I hadn’t even heard of this film but Mr C was like ‘someone tweeted about this Netflix film being really good’ so we watched it. Amazingly, we then saw some of the promotional things going on around the movie and it was a lot of fun to actually be ahead of the curve rather than six months behind.

And the film, it was perfect. A proper feel-good dramedy, with a wonderful cast (Kelsey really shone in this one) and a great story. It had twists and turns aplenty, but nothing so traumatic that it cast a shadow over the rest. It was tearful but uplifting at the same time, and for me, personally, it brought back both good and bad memories of time on a cruise ship.

Highly recommended.
