Conclusions

The trailer for this wasn’t completely compelling but I’m a bit of a fan of Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Costner, so them co-starring in a film (sort of) was tempting.

The film has an intriguing concept and it’s got some great ideas in there, but I didn’t really enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The first half, in particular, was incredibly hard to watch – so much violence with so little provocation, and not a lot of story progression.

It got better towards the end, though, and the story came to a good conclusion. So to sum up, a good idea but not the best execution.

Rating: 3/5.
